Cap:
Reporter: “Cap, you stated earlier yesterday that you were
gonna play tonight until that streak was ended. You even went as far as saying
you would live Moe hours if that’s what it would take to do so. How does this
win feel and what changes did you make?”
Cap: “We didn’t make much in changes. We had to deal with a
tough 3v3, which likes to implement the no kill streak rule, those pussies.
Other than that I the game plan was simple and it came down to people hitting
targets. We did that tonight and I’m glad to back here in V for Victory lane.
It feels good. I really hope this helps us get back on track.”
Reporter: “Cap, you’re a true competitor. You play with no
fear. You’re not afraid of losing. Does the tenacity you play with keep you
going even when you go through slides like you have in your career?”
Cap: “It may be. I just hate losing. Everyone does. It’s the
makes up the objective though. You gotta take risks to get rewards. In this
case it’s risk losing to feel the accomplishment of succeeding. I love to
compete in any league. It means the world to me to go out and see what others
are made of. Test myself and dealing something new all time, because whether
it’s sport games or video games, it’s competition. I was born to compete, piss
people off, and get pissed off. I’m doing my duty.”
Reporter: “We heard something we haven’t heard this season
on the radio waves and that was some conceding. What are your thoughts on
that?”
Cap: “We understand frustration. We understand tempers
happen and you lose your cool. That has to wait until you’ve left the
battlefield and in the locker-room. We do not promote that type of attitude
and/or belief. Some of us can channel our emotions correctly and some of us
cannot. It was unfortunate to hear, but it’s been dealt with within the
clubhouse and we hope you and the fans don’t have to deal with that lose of
composure again. We are a team. We win and lose together. We have to stay
strong in times of defeat and play a full 10 minutes every map!”
Reporter: “You stayed pretty loose as the slide
continued. How did you check those emotions
and keep this team focused?”
Cap: “It’s never easy, but it’s all a part of composure. I
set the standard for composure. I have to stay strong and keep my head up when
things start sliding or I’ll tumble and fall. I signed my lifetime contract to
be here every step of the way and I am doing so. I know how good we are. I know
how powerful we are. The team is learning and progressing. It’s a ladder you
have to climb to get to the top. We are making our climb.”
Reporter: “Thanks Cap for your knowledge and insight into
the clan they call V.”
Cap: “No problem dudemanbrah ... Yeah boy!”
